Our Services
Educational Assessments
We offer formal and informal academic assessments for the purpose of identifying academic areas of focus. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive report that leads to a customized, individualized plan that fills in academic gaps and helps students develop confidence within themselves to become lifelong autonomous learners.
Individual Academic Supports
We offer one-on-one academic sessions that are focused on individual needs. Sessions are conducted in person or via teleconferencing. The focus of lessons can range from phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics instruction to skill acquisition in areas such as executive functioning and auditory/visual processing. Homework support is also available when requested.

In-person sessions are offered at the Compassionate Solutions clinic in Newhall.

Online sessions are also available.
Group Writing Classes
We offer group writing classes for 3-12 grades using the Institute for Excellence in Writing curriculum. Shelley Ramirez is a Registered IEW instructor who has offered in-person group classes for three years and a veteran homeschool parent who has taught the IEW method to her own children for twelve years.
