Level A, Year 1
3rd - 5th grades
Using the models of structure and elements of style found in the Institute for Excellence in Writing’s
Teaching Writing: Structure and Style®, students will review and refine seven IEW units. IEW's models of structure and elements of style will be incrementally introduced.

Teaching Writing: Structure and Style®, students will review and refine eight IEW units before pressing on into full literary analysis. IEW's models of structure and elements of style will
be incrementally introduced.
